Future Visions

John Gilbert

“When we think of vibrant downtown markets, we think of Little Rock/North Little Rock and envision a downtown that enjoys a thriving workforce, entertainment district and residential living.  It’s a place people want to work, dine and live, which is why we are developing The Enclave at the Riverfront – a 260-unit, luxury, mid-rise apartment community. Our residents will enjoy a premier living experience at a location that offers a multitude of amenities in a bustling environment.  Bomasada Group is a Houston-based real estate development firm specializing in multi-family development and construction, and we chose to be an integral part of this North Little Rock environment because we believe in its redevelopment opportunities.  We performed extensive research in the Little Rock area and determined there was a need for a Class “A” apartment project near the River Market. We  looked at several potential sites on both sides of the Arkansas River and purchased what we feel is the best site in the marketplace – the 3-acre parcel on Riverfront Drive between Alltel Arena and the Arkansas River. The site was the former home of the Jackson Cookie Company. We selected this location due to its close proximity to many of the area’s employment, entertainment and recreational centers, such as the River Market, Clinton Library, Alltel Arena, Dickey-StephensBaseballPark, the State Capital, the MedicalCenter, BurnsPark, River Trail, InlandMaritimeMuseum and McCain Mall. In addition, our project will offer fabulous views of the Little Rock skyline and Arkansas River. The Enclave at the Riverfront will be the premier residential community in the downtown Little Rock/North Little Rock market.”

Making little rock an even more vibrant and vital city

“We at AT&T Arkansas applaud city leaders for their successes in the continued growth and vitality of downtown Little Rock, and for their commitment to continuing the work.

We are pleased to be part of downtown and to be a contributor to making Little Rock an even more vibrant and vital city. Our approach is to provide new communications services and technology for business and consumers, to promote broad community access to technology, and to support education through technology.

Whether it’s providing a grant for the hands-on technology center within the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, delivering wireless broadband access at Little Rock Adams Field and in the River Market, or making the investment to deliver Internet Protocol-based video services to city residents – AT&T Arkansas is committed to this city.

AT&T Arkansas has been part of Little Rock for more than 125 years – locally, we trace our business roots back to the city’s very first telephone exchange. Today we serve 102 local exchanges in Arkansans, providing service to more Arkansans than any other provider. In fact, on a typical day we help complete 29 million calls or data transactions for Arkansas customers. No other company has so much daily interaction with the people of Arkansas.

Looking ahead, we are excited by the opportunity to help local companies use technology to grow their business, increase efficiency and improve operations. And for consumers we are working to deliver communications and entertainment services to the “three screens” people value most – their TV, their PC and their wireless phone – in a way that is integrated and consumer-friendly. “
